Our Services

  • If you have a chronic health condition, you may be eligible for Medicare-subsidized consultations with registered allied health professionals, including exercise physiologists. These services are available with a referral from your GP.

    We support a wide range of health concerns, including but not limited to:

    • Musculoskeletal rehabilitation (injury or pre- & post-surgery)

      • Chronic pain (Lower back pain, hip pain)

      • Healthy Aging, Falls Prevention, Balance & increasing bone density

      • Women’s health (post-natal recovery & pelvic floor conditioning)

      • Chronic Disease Management (Osteoporosis, Arthritis, Parkinson’s & Dementia)

      • Physiological conditions (high or low blood pressure, elevated cholesterol & cardiac conditions)

      • Psychological conditions (depression & anxiety)

      • Lifestyle conditions (diabetes & obesity)

  • We offer services to those covered by The Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). If you hold a Veteran Gold or Veteran White card, you may be eligible to receive these services if you either:

    • Have a chronic disease, or

    • Are recovering from a hospital stay due to a major injury or illness.

    To determine your eligibility and receive the necessary referral, speak with your local doctor.

  • Even without a referral, we are happy to welcome clients for private billing sessions.

  • At Horizons Exercise Physiology, we are passionate about supporting older adults to stay active, independent, and confident in their daily lives.

    We provide Clinical Exercise Physiology services under Home Care Packages (HCPs) and work collaboratively with approved HCP providers to deliver tailored exercise programs that meet each client’s individual needs and goals.

    Our ESSA-accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologists specialise in:

        •    Falls prevention and balance training

        •    Strength and mobility programs

        •    Chronic condition management (e.g. arthritis, osteoporosis, diabetes)

        •    Pain management and posture support

        •    Improving overall function and quality of life

    We offer mobile services throughout the Sunshine Coast, bringing high-quality, evidence-based care to the comfort of your home or local community setting. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, recovering from an injury, or simply aiming to maintain independence, our team is here to help you move well, feel strong, and live fully.

  • At Horizons Exercise Physiology Sunshine Coast, we are proud to support individuals living with disability through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

    Our team works collaboratively with participants, support coordinators, and plan managers to provide personalised, evidence-based exercise programs that enhance independence, mobility, and overall quality of life.

    As Exercise & Sports Science Australia-accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologists, we support self-managed & plan-managed NDIS* participants.

    *Please note that we are not NDIS-registered. Services are exclusive to self-managed & plan-managed participants.
